Ashland receives a “unanimous” letter of support from Frank J. Christensen, President of the International Union of Elevator Constructors (IUEC), and the IUEC Executive Board, endorsing Ashland’s Elevator Emergency Education (EEE) Course, making it the first elevator emergency course for firefighters ever endorsed by the IUEC since its founding in 1901. The endorsement is the result of numerous lecture presentations of course material given by Ashland’s executive team to executive members of the IUEC’s Elevator Industry Work Preservation Fund (EIWPF) at IUEC headquarters in Columbia, Maryland, during the summer and fall of 2016, and subsequent rigorous analysis and refinement.
